No one ever got fat on apples. If you’re trying to lose fat, it’s not the fruits and veggies that you have to worry about
Apples rank high on my list of ‘must-eat’ fruits and I often recommend that my clients always keep some within reach - It is also a very portable and easy-to-consume snack, and they’re good for you!
A balanced diet should consist of protein, quality carbohydrates, and fat - these coming from lean meats, fish, fruits and vegetables, and grains… and apples fit right in the picture.
Often, we find excuses to avoid what we should be eating, and we are quick to overlook the real problems in our diet and point the blame on something else. We eat too much fatty foods, and not enough of the good stuff - and when we don’t reach our fitness goals, we ‘conveniently’ overlook our messy eating habits and poor lifestyle, and focus on the wrong things.
If this is you, then perhaps today you’d like to take time to ponder and see if there are other areas in your life that you can improve - your sedentary lifestyle, stress levels, or poor eating habits.
