TARGET MUSCLE: Quadriceps

Preparation
Sit on machine with back firmly on the padded support.
Place feet on platform and grasp handles to sides.

Execution
Push platform away by extending knees and hips while keeping your back pressed against the support and head straight.
Return and repeat.

Important:
Keep your knees pointed towards the same direction as feet.
Push with both heel and forefoot - do not allow heels to raise off of platform.
Be careful not to lock out your knees while performing this exercise
