XTERRA has come to our shores.Be part of the world famous triathlon series that triathletes look forward to most on their racing calendars.
Only second to Japan to host XTERRA races in Asia, this will be XTERRA Malaysia’s inaugural race, making it’s debut on the XTERRA Global Tour calendar.
Unlike the usual street pounding races that people associate triathlons with, this XTERRA race is off road and involves swimming in the sea, mountain biking and trail running through the jungle.
A challenging race, the course will see triathletes starting off from the scenic Teluk Cempedak beach, swimming in the clear waters of South China Sea, mountain biking through the tropical jungle of Pahang and racing the hilly jungle trails to the finish line.
The race will comprise of the following:
1.5KM swim
30KM mountain bike
10KM trail run
Cash Prizes of RM100,000 & Trophies for Top 3 Winners of each category.
All finishers will be awarded a Finishing Medal and Certificate of Achievement.
